The conversion runs in your browser

MillionsToCrores.com is a static site with no application server and no database. When you type a number into the converter, the arithmetic is performed by JavaScript running on your own device. The number is not posted to us, and there is nowhere on our side for it to be stored.

What is measured

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics collects the standard set: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how long a visit lasts.

One measurement goes further and you should know about it. When you type a value into the converter and stop typing, the site sends that value to Google Analytics as an event parameter, truncated to the first 48 characters. It is sent so we can see which kinds of amounts people convert and build pages for them. Values you copy or read are not sent; only what you type into the input, and only once it settles.

If you would rather that did not happen, do not type into the converter — every generated page already displays its own answer without any input — or block analytics as described below.

What is never collected

• No accounts, names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
• No payment information. The site is free and takes no payments.
• No advertising, ad networks, ad cookies or data sold or shared with advertisers.
• No cross-site tracking pixels beyond the Google Analytics tag described above.
• No sensitive personal data of any category is requested by this site.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in the `_ga` family to distinguish one visit from another. They are analytics cookies, not advertising cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no local storage to profile you.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser at any time. The converter and every page continue to work normally without them.

How to opt out

• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which disables measurement across every site that uses it.
• Block analytics scripts with your browser settings, private browsing mode, or any content blocker.
• Enable "Do Not Track" or a similar signal; many blockers act on it.
• Simply avoid typing into the converter, which is the only input the site measures.

Where data goes

Analytics data is processed by Google, which operates internationally and may process it outside your country. Google acts as our analytics provider and its own privacy terms govern that processing. We do not sell, rent or trade data to anyone.

The site is served over HTTPS from a commercial web host, which keeps standard server access logs — the usual record of IP address, timestamp, requested address and user agent that any web server keeps in order to operate and defend itself.

Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, after which Google deletes it. Host access logs are retained on the host's ordinary schedule. Because the site holds no accounts, there is no user record to retain or delete.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection law — including the EU and UK GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — may give you rights of access, correction, deletion, objection and portability over personal data relating to you.

Because we operate no accounts and hold no directly identifying information, we usually cannot connect a request to a specific person. If you believe we hold data about you and want to exercise a right, write to contact@millionstocrores.com and we will do what we reasonably can, including telling you honestly when we hold nothing.

Children

This site is a general-purpose reference tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
